Do you have seasonals?

You're probably wondering what the hell is a seasonal?? Well... let me explain. I was having a conversation with one of my friends and I was explaining how the relationships I have do not last long enough to be called "relationships" so I needed call it something else, and seasonals were born. Now you're probably wondering, “Why seasonals? How does that make sense?”

Well... let me explain. Seasonals, as you may have already figured out, has the base word of season. When I think of seasons I think of something lasting three months or so, a couple of times a year and smooth transitioning. My relationships have been as such. They last about three months or so, a couple times a year, and smoothly transition from one to the next. Another reason why seasonals is so great is because there is no negative connotation to the word; in fact, it doesn’t even have a positive connotation either. It just is.

The seasons of the year comes and goes without any surprises or hard feelings. We all know that the summer is going to end eventually but we don't get sad about it, we just prepare for the fall. There are no hard feelings or anything. And I love summer, and I love summer love, but I know when September comes around I'll be in another state of mind (probably in another state as well). And that's not a problem for me or the season that I'm in.

Another thing about seasons... they overlap at times. You know, when its summer going in to fall, you have your fall clothes but you might want to wear your shorts a couple of times cause it might be hot out (you know ;-).

So that's what a seasonal is. Let me know if you have them too!!!
